I’m pleased with our performance as captain. In every game, we battled till the very end. useful lessons for us going forward. We are pleased with the manner our hitters performed in this competition. Before this competition, we were having trouble. We discussed the weak point as a group over dinner, and as a result, you witnessed how well our batsmen performed. Looking forward to the future is a good thing. Everyone is aware of our strong spin department. We will be a very strong side if we continue with the same momentum. With this competition, we sent a positive message to everyone. We battled until the very end when playing against large teams. We had the Australian game in our possession, but it was shocking for us.

Uncertain of the degree of my leg’s pain, but it should be alright. I could have turned myself into a shell. There, with the guys, was what I aspired to be. Possibility of me hanging out in the center for a while. At that precise time, that exactly how I felt. We aim to maintain the momentum we have gained from winning. It will give us a lot of confidence to cross the finish line in that situation because we batted second. Incredible batting performance by Rassie, who assumed control of the inning and had players hit around him. It became a better wicket.

Even if we had bowled first, we would still have pursued. We wanted to place ourselves in a challenging scenario since we knew they had a strong bowling attack. We are happy overall, albeit there are one or two things we could have changed. There needs to be an anchor person in any chase. Quinny and Temba provided us with a strong platform, which made it easier for me, and we had a great one. I’m glad I got to play that part tonight, and we have some strong middle partnerships. It’s amusing when you perform one thing really well and another poorly, and people say you’re not doing that great.
In terms of pursuing. we were about halfway there, thus We intended to place ourselves in a challenging circumstance. We have learned a great deal from the last two games. Kolkata was far lower and drier. We are aware of what to anticipate before the semifinals. Hopefully, we’ll deliver a performance along these lines when we return.
