Every July, teams from Gilgit Baltistan, Chitral, compete in a three-day polo match held at Shandur Polo Ground. Enthusiastic spectators flock to the much-awaited matches, particularly those between Chrital (A) and Gilgit (A). A rivalry match between Pakistan and India in cricket is created when the Chrital squad consistently performs better than Gilgit Baltistan. So the crowd always maintains the temperatures high throughout the festival. The match ended with the final game between the Chitral and Gilgit teams where the crowd didn’t control their emotions while supporting their teams. The Gilgit Baltistan Government fully supports the teams that participated in this festival.

Freestyle polo has no rules. There is a great idiom about polo that there are no rules in free style polo. Is a game where the players play their game without any empire or side judge. It’s a game where all rules become ignored. It’s a game of kings in history, players protect themselves no one can protect of guide them between the match. Players at a polo match have dangerous horses and these horses are well-trained by the trainers for a long period.
