The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has also praised it, referring to it as “the most beautiful stadium in the world” (HRD).
What then is it about the Gwadar Cricket Stadium that makes people feel so amazed? The cricket ground’s unique location—with craggy mountains towering over the lush green grass—is mostly to blame.
The stadium’s development was finished and officially opened in November 2020. There is enough seating for thousands of fans, making it the perfect place to hold international cricket matches. The remarkable beauty and scale of the stadium have also been noted and appreciated by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
